Flashing battery light

Hello,

I'm reaching out to the community to inquire about the behavior of my battery. Indeed, for the past few days, it no longer holds a charge, and when I'm using the laptop on battery, it shuts down (black screen without going through the shutdown phase) even though the battery indicator is not empty.

Additionally, the battery light is blinking (green/orange) continuously even when I am plugged into the power supply.

My laptop is an Asus X53S and it is only 2 years old.

Should I replace my battery? Or can I buy a quality one?

Thank you very much in advance for your responses.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 29.0.1547.62

    Hello,

    A little test:

1 - Turn off the PC and remove the battery
2 - Boot up on AC power only
3 - Turn off the PC (select the shutdown option, not restart/shutdown)
4 - Once the PC is off, reinstall the battery
    5 - Reboot

If there's no change, repeat steps 2 or 3 times
    And provide feedback.

    Thank you

    Best regards

Hello, I have the same issue and I tried what you said...
But the problem is not resolved. Yesterday I had no issues at all....

Did I misunderstand the method you provided...?
