Hello,
I recorded a show on TV and retrieved 4 files on my USB stick: one .mts, one .mts.meta, one .mts1, and one .mts2.
I checked that my recording was complete by watching it on TV.
I copied the 4 files to my PC and tried to view the recording with MovieMaker, but it only recognizes the .mts file, and when I reach the end of the recording, it is incomplete. Why?
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Internet Explorer 11.0

Hello guynemer95
you need to change the format to watch these videos.

Hello to you,
I knew Format Factory, and I had tried to convert the .mts to MP4, but since the .mts file wasn't complete when it arrived, the .mp4 wasn't either.
However, I hadn't thought that when recording via a decoder, it could have this kind of extension.
Thanks again, I did manage to recover the end of the recording.

Hello,
"It only takes into account the .mts file, and when I go to the end of the recording, it is not complete, why?"
Simply because the other files are numbered at the end of the extension in .mts1, .mts2, .mts3 ...etc
Just remove the stupid numbering from the TV decoder by moving the numbers on the files, for example ==> file01.mts, file02.mts
Everything should be in order, otherwise you come back; I had the same problem with a "low-end" decoder... and no need to change the format, you keep .mts for editing on MovieMaker.
Bye!
