Hello
I have a rather old JVC GR-D93 E camcorder that uses Mini DV tapes or a memory card. At the time of its purchase, I had a PC with a tower running Windows XP, and to transfer the videos, I used Image Mixer 1.7 for JVC (installation CD provided with the camcorder).
I lost the videos due to a PC failure. I then bought a new PC running Windows 7, and then another PC that I currently have running Windows 10.
I inserted the Image Mixer CD and downloaded the content, but my camcorder is not recognized (only the type shows up in the "device" section), and the Image Mixer drivers seem to be outdated. I can't find compatible drivers. My PC only has USB and HDMI inputs. I have a MAC BOOK Pro that is two months old. It doesn't recognize anything; the camcorder doesn't exist for it.
What do you recommend? Does a little genius have the solution?
Thank you in advance, best regards.

Ok.. DAZZLE, that's it

As you can see in the specifications, there is an S-video port and since your camcorder is equipped with an S-video port, all you need to do is buy a cable to connect the two and.. since DAZZLE comes with software (Pinnacle) you can install the latter on your Windows 10-equipped PC and you will thus be able to "capture" your videos.
Otherwise, the equipment for capturing videos is becoming increasingly rare and you will only find "copies" of Dazzle.
Don't forget to mark your post as "resolved" once the problem is fixed. Thank you.
