Hello,
I recently bought GTA V and completed the prologue without any issues. When I get to Franklin, the game crashes and gives me the following error: ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT
(I want to specify that I have done some research and apparently it's because I don't have the right version of DirectX)
My configuration:
GTX 750 ti
I5-3570k
8GB
Windows 10 with DirectX12

Your issue corresponds to this:
[ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT]
Initialization failed. Please restart and relaunch the game. Try reinstalling the game if the problem persists.
Otherwise, try this:
The real solution is to delete your settings.xml in C:/Users/(Your Name)/Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V. When you start GTA V, it will recreate a new settings.xml, replacing the old one.

Still not, but at least this time I was able to access the game for 5 seconds before the crash...
