Unresolvable TV issue

I bought my Panasonic TV 3 weeks ago and I have a problem: it goes into standby every time I connect it via HDMI to my SFR decoder. The TV turns off randomly; sometimes I can watch the picture for 5 minutes, sometimes for 30 seconds before the TV goes into standby. The SFR decoder stays on without going into standby.

I have tried several HDMI cables, but the result is always the same. I connected my computer and a DVD player to the TV, and everything works perfectly; it's only with this decoder that I have issues. I placed another TV to connect my SFR decoder to, and everything works fine.

My question is: has anyone ever had this kind of problem and could help me? I went to my TV supplier, and they tested it; for them, everything is fine, it's working and the warranty is valid. I called SFR, and they said the decoder works, it's the TV that has issues. I've tried absolutely everything I could, and now I'm turning to you as a last hope :/

I'm not specialized in the area, but there have already been precedents in the same style with I don't remember which decoder that didn't work with all TVs.

The first thing you can try is to change the resolution of the decoder.
The second option is to have an intermediary between the decoder and the TV.

What decoder do you have?

Hello,
I am not familiar with either of the products, BUT... check the settings on the decoder to see if there is an option to put the television in standby mode... since the television is new, it understands the command it is given and goes into standby... on the other hand, the other television may be older or not understand the command it is given, so it remains on.
A lot of information passes through HDMI, and who knows... the solution might be there.

Hello, I've tried all the image resolutions and I've checked that no old ones are active. The decoder is the basic black SFR decoder connected to my box, no specific brand or I don't know.

I just found the solution and I don't like it at all. For everyone who has this issue, it's actually an incompatibility between the SFR decoder and my TV following equipment updates. An error message just appeared, and until now I hadn't had it (HDCP02 error code).
The solution provided by SFR is simply to change the TV or to switch to RCA from the decoder to the TV. So, great, SFR is incapable of finding another solution. I'm fed up and I really feel like telling them to go screw themselves, while still being polite.

I am with Free, with the Revolution box + TV box + 2nd TV box for the bedroom.. in short, everything works! whether it's through SCART or HDMI (my choice) or powerline.. anyway!
that said, my living room TV is a recent Samsung smart TV
but an old 32" Philips in the bedroom and I even tested it on an old Sony CRT TV, and there too no issues, even though the connections are older
however, I do not like the mini 4K box, it's cheaper but not as "up to par" in my opinion (personal view)
just for your information, if you are at the end of your commitment period (or not committed) and are considering changing your operator.. of course at Free there are no stores, everything is done by phone, email or mail
and so? it doesn't necessarily get better when you have the store close to home!, proof!

Well, the principle is that on a recent TV, Panasonic or otherwise, there shouldn't be any "material" issues.
From there, I'm willing to pay for a service, but I want to be satisfied; otherwise, I complain, I try a solution, and if none are satisfactory... I'll look elsewhere!
When it comes down to just adding an option for a specific channel or an extra channel pack, that's nothing!
