How to remove a password from an Excel document?

Hello,
A few years ago, I created an Excel spreadsheet with a password protection that allows viewing but not editing.
Today, I would like this spreadsheet to be editable by others, so I want to remove the password protection.
I tried going through the "Review"/"Unprotect Sheet" tab, but after closing the document and reopening it, the window asking for my password still appears...
What should I do?

    Hello,

Start by opening your file / then Save As / name it exactly the same, but before clicking on Save / click on the Tools button / General Options / delete the black dots that symbolize your password

Not knowing is not a failure, failure is the refusal to learn.

        Hello Chris
Thanks, I understand now; my password for Excel has disappeared
        It works.
