Unable to access my gmail account

Hello,

Currently abroad, when I try to log into my Gmail account, it asks me to confirm my identity. To do this, they offer to send an email to my recovery email or to my recovery phone number. However, my number is no longer valid and the recovery address poses the same problem (blocked for security)... I really need to access it, is there a solution available to me?
Thank you for your help and I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, I haven't seen a similar one.

    Hello,

Maybe try using a VPN located in France?

A VPN? Sorry, I'm not very good with technology.
It does work with my tablet wherever I go for Gmail but not for Hotmail, which bothers me because it's my backup account. The problem is that I need to access my account via a computer to print important papers, and I can't do that.
Furthermore, I'm going to continue traveling for a while and I won't always have the tablet with me.

A VPN is a virtual tunnel that allows you to encrypt data exchanges from point A to point B and also enables you to change your IP address, thus altering your location. Therefore, even while being abroad, you can have an IP address located in France and make Gmail believe that you are in France. However, it is possible that it may not recognize the IP and still ask you for confirmation. If you say that it works on a tablet, log into your Gmail account from the tablet and change the phone number so that it sends you a confirmation code that you can enter when logging in from the PC.

    Hello,

I don't have a mobile number currently, but I will find a solution in this regard as the VPN will probably be too complicated for my poor computer skills. Thank you very much for your help.
