Connect Sony Bravia TV to the internet via Wi-Fi

Hello everyone

I recently bought a Sony Bravia KD-49X8309C TV and I can't connect it to the Free Wi-Fi.
No network appears in the list of available networks, and when I try to enter it manually, I get an error message.
I called Free but they are shifting the problem, and Sony just directs me to the procedure to follow without further explanation.
Can anyone help me?

Hello,
The procedure stipulates an update via USB key.

Before installing the update, you need to download it from the Internet and save it onto a USB key.

Read and accept the terms and conditions below, then click on download file.
When prompted, save the file to your Desktop. Once the update download is complete, make sure that the file size is 1,367,742,880 bytes. To do this, right-click on the file, select Properties from the context menu, and check the size in the General tab.
Open Windows Explorer, locate the downloaded file sony_tvupdate_2015_3533_eub_auth.zip and unzip it.
A folder named sony_tvupdate_2015_3533_eub_auth will then be created on your local drive. It contains the file sony_dtvxxxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx (.pkg)
Copy or drag and drop the file sony_dtvxxxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx (.pkg) to the root of your USB device.

I followed your recommendations and installed an update but the problem persists with a message saying router not found, it's enough to drive you crazy
Does anyone have any idea?
