Hello, I just bought a WE ART external hard drive and I'm not very handy in this area. With this one, if I plug a USB stick into it, there's no problem reading it on my SONY BRAVIA LCD TV, but the hard drive doesn’t detect any movies, even though I can read them from my hard drive on macOS. I've searched on several forums but found nothing useful. Who can help me by explaining this well, please? A big thank you in advance.

    Hi,
I think it’s simply that your TV can't open such a large storage space; 1 TB is too big for a TV. So when you want to watch a movie, you need to put it on a USB stick and then connect the stick to the TV.
However, if you have a DVD/Blu-ray player with a USB port, the hard drive should be recognized and you’ll be able to watch your movies from the hard drive.

Thank you for your response, but for me, that's not it because my old hard drive was already one terabyte and worked perfectly... I will continue to gather information.
