Hello,
How can I achieve a stable print on the Yosemite eye system + MJ 1660 laser printer? One page out of two works; otherwise, I have to unplug the USB cable each time for the printing to be reactivated. Have you ever encountered this issue? Thank you for your advice.

Your Samsung ML-1660 Series laser printer is fully compatible with Mac OS X Sierra 10.12, El Capitan 10.11, Yosemite 10.10, and Mavericks 10.9.
Personally, I have the Samsung ML-1630 Series for years during which my 2007 iMac has evolved from Snow Leopard 10.6 to El Capitan 10.11. It is connected to the USB port of my FreeBox so the whole family can use it.
When one of the Macs in the house has an issue with the printer, I do this:
- I open "System Preferences -> Printers and Scanners"
- I delete the printer
- I restart the Mac
- I open "System Preferences -> Printers and Scanners"
- I reinstall the printer as on the first day
