Wifi ok, Error 404 on smartphone but not on my PC

Hello,

My problem is as follows: when I browse on my PC (via Wi-Fi) everything is normal. But when I connect on my mobile phone (on the same Wi-Fi) every time I type the address of a website I get a 404 error, and no applications are connected (and they ask me to check my network connection) I have tried with other phones and it's the same.

I deleted cookies and browsing data but the problem persists.

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 54.0.2840.99

The 404 error means that the page is not found on the web server of the website you are visiting. If you see a 404, it means that the internet is working, you are accessing the website correctly, but the URL you are typing is not correct on your smartphone, so it needs to be corrected.

I don't believe in your theory because no application works, I've tried other smartphones and it does the same thing.

This kind of issue does not come from the network in general, either from the browser, non-compliant request, or from the server.
Or your ISP has put in place a poorly functioning proxy.

Call your internet service provider (not phone) to check.
      By the way,
are you sure the phone is properly connected to wifi?
Does it happen on CCM for example?

Yes, very sure, and my PC picks up the Wi-Fi and is connected to the internet normally.
