Hello, good evening;

Do you know the TradeDiscount website?
I found a lot of positive reviews online, but personally, there is one thing that bothers me, which is the graphics card offered with the PCs: An Intel HD Graphics, which apparently is not sufficient for gaming..
I'm not very knowledgeable about performance, but the rest of some of the proposed configurations seem good to me, and since I already have a GTX 660, I was wondering if it would be worth it. My goal is to be able to play recent games or those that will be released.
The price offered on the site suits me, as it includes a monitor and is already assembled. All that's left is to replace the GPU. (I'm not even sure if they are compatible, are they?) If so, would it be a good deal?

Thank you!

Hi, it's a site that seems to be reselling obsolete equipment originally sold in supermarkets. A whole range of these mediocre Dell Optiplexes classified in the "Gamer" category. It's not credible at all, so it's to be avoided...
My friends think I am a computer genius for always fixing their computers. Truthfully, I'm just really better at using Google than they are.

Oh really, to that extent? =/
The site seems to have a pretty good reputation...
But it's true that I don't know enough about equipment to judge fully by myself... Are there any other sites where I can buy used items, and with a good level of safety?
Thanks for the response!

To buy second-hand, I would say that you need a pretty good knowledge of computer hardware in order to sort through it. A bit like with new equipment, but even more attentive to avoid unpleasant surprises and determine the right price. Buying refurbished equipment from a computer shop, why not, but the prices are not necessarily extraordinary.

So the best choice would still be, in the end, to buy new?
I know it's better to build it yourself, and that's actually what I wanted to do, around my GTX, but I'm getting so tangled up in all the possibilities... And besides, it's starting to get old, it won't hold up in the future.. So I would ultimately go for a pre-built PC. In that case, should I head to specialized websites? Any advice?
Thanks again!

If you need a gaming PC, you have a wide range of choices regarding configuration examples based on your budget. Assembling the parts in-store and the presence of Windows 10 are options.
If you want to run recent and upcoming games in Full HD, avoid entry-level configurations.

With a GTX 660, it's good for running games at low to medium quality, but I wouldn't recommend buying it; you should wait to purchase a new one instead.

The problem is that I don't have the means to get the full version, top-of-the-line, for the moment. On the other hand, playing at low quality is perfectly fine for me. Ideally, I would be able to set my card up well, and maybe upgrade later. On this site, some PCs look sufficient for their price. So if the graphics card is compatible, it seems like a pretty good compromise! It would allow me to get back to playing, like GTA5 for example, even if it's at minimum settings and without FPS-eater mods.
Thank you for your response!
