Change the creation date of an MP4 video file

Hello,

I would like to change the creation date of MP4 video files.
I haven't found a solution online.
My operating system: Windows 10 (X64) 1607

    Hello,
    I downloaded Attribute Changer 8.50 but I can't change the creation date of my MP4 files.
    In the report, the file shows an error.
    Does anyone know how to use this software to modify my MP4 files?

      So far, I was using version 7.10c, which works very well.
      I just uninstalled it and replaced it with the same version as yours, which is 8.50 (accessible via the link I provided, directly from the publisher).
      On my PC running Windows 10 64-bit, it gives just as good results.

      If you installed it correctly, the program should appear in the context menu of the explorer when you right-click on a file of your choice.

      So, you right-click on your file, and in the context menu, you click on the line "Change attributes" (with the left button).
      In the window that appears, you check the box "Modify date and time".
      You have 3 lines: "Created", "Modified", and "Last accessed". It's at the "Modified" line that you need to act.
      To the right of the date, you have a dropdown menu that will bring up a calendar where you can select your desired date (even a date in the future!). You can also change the time.
      You click the "Apply" button, then click "OK" twice.

      If you get an error, it's either because the program is not supported by your operating system (but I doubt it, especially since it is compatible with 32 or 64 bits), or because there is a problem with your MP4 file.
      Try using another file to see. If the problem persists, uninstall this version and install version 7.11 available on the same page.
      All versions of Windows from XP SP3 onwards are supported.

        Thank you for your help.
        I deleted and then uploaded the 2 versions one after the other.
        I followed your methodology and the result is the same: the date is not modified.
        I tried with a video from 2004 and with an AVI, it's the same.
        My videos might be locked?

        An essay on a text file, just to see? Yet, I have exactly the same O.S. as you. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to say, sorry.

        I tested on a text file: it works.
        However, for Excel, Word, JPG & MP4 files, it doesn’t work.
