Hello,
I have videos in *.avi format and *.srt files with the same names as the video files. Basically, the *.srt files are the subtitles of the videos (the translations). I would like to create videos with translations by merging each video with its corresponding *.srt file.
Does anyone have an idea of how this can be done (if it's possible) and which software or converter could accomplish this?

Configuration: Windows 8 / Firefox 29.0

Hello
You have two options to do this.
Either by embedding the subtitles into the video, they will then become an integral part of the video and can no longer be modified.
Or by adding the subtitles in a container that allows it. Like the mkv using mkvtoolmix.
The second option has the advantage of being able to include multiple subtitles and to be able to choose them in the video.
