Hello,
I have reconnected my Acer Aspire M1600-EB7Z desktop computer (running Windows Vista) to my monitor (also from Acer). Then, I turn on my CPU and then my monitor, but the screen displays "No signal" and then automatically goes into standby. I have checked the cable connections with no results. Please help me.
Best regards;
JB3536

Hello
We always start with the easiest part.
If the drivers are okay:
Change the cable to see if that’s the cause..
If it's not the cable, then it’s either the PC or the screen; it’s possible to test with another screen if available.
On the PC side, that leaves the graphics card. If no screen works, you need to test with another card. If it’s an integrated card, it’s possible to add one.
In short, only by testing the various elements can we trace back to the source.

I think I've found the source of the problem: the VGA cable. I'm going to buy another one and test it. If that's it, thank you for your help.
