Hello,
I bought a 7-inch 8GB Mediatek GPS and I would like to know if anyone could help me update the mapping for Europe because I can't find it on the suggested site. Thank you in advance.

But how stupid he is; He confuses and quotes Fred 71100? Sarah Bernard, Harleyboy with Harley. As for the other question regarding a Harley, it’s not me oddly enough and moreover not only was their question not stupid since asked by several people but also remained unanswered;
At least, I provided a solution and not just criticisms to hide my incompetence. To each his own.
Indeed, I will no longer respond to these absurdities. Let the readers judge.....
I won't go so far as to say don’t listen to Nemrod's advice, he doesn’t give any.
Hi and looking forward to not reading you anymore.

These are indeed your ignorant interventions on the subject, learn to read funny Harley.

Nemrod has nothing to prove in GPS.

NEMROD, if that's your response; a 3-year-old could have done better. Useless and uninteresting answer from an incompetent person who parasites blogs. If you don't know, keep quiet! And if you don't know what to do, take care of yourself if you know what I mean.

What business is it of yours, Harley? Got nothing better to do?

Where are your constructive responses?

Any links I can check?

I doubt it, but in the meantime, you’re not going to stop me from writing what I want.

Bye, forever.

There is no need for a long history to see your state of mind (if you even have one). You talk to me about being constructive when I see nothing from you other than criticism such as "why did you buy this crap?"
It's true that I don't intervene indiscriminately to chatter.
Anyway, I'm responding to Fred 71100's question and others who are wondering the same. It's difficult to find free software that works. However, you can find one for around 18/25 euros on eBay in a 4GB SD format.
Insert it as such or onto an 8GB card that will allow you to add more countries, and even better, download it if your GPS's internal memory supports it. You need to get the IGO card compatible with the Chinese settings.
As for the rest, Nemrod, you shouldn't confuse hardware and software, and this is about software. A kid knows that...!
I hope I have answered as best as I can for buyers of this type of equipment, knowing that most, even those sold by official retailers, come from China and the same circuit with the same risk of malfunction and even a one-year warranty—it's mainly their margin that is very different.

It's true that you know a lot about GPS; you just need to revisit your requests.

Enough.
