You can still install CyanogenMod on it, which allows you to have a quality custom ROM, without the manufacturer's bloatware, and with Android 4.4.4, but you need to back everything up first (I recommend Titanium Backup) and have a minimum understanding of computers, so as not to get lost in the tutorials.
