HP 301 XL Ink Cartridge Reset

I have an HP DeskJet 2542 printer with 301 XL cartridges
I can't reset them
If anyone has a solution?

Did you fill the cartridges yourself, or are they compatible and non-official HP ones?
If the cartridges are official HP and have been replaced,
did you align the cartridges and then print a test page?

Who loves learning! finds knowledge that comes from reflection!
PS. Frequently create a restore point! it solves quite a few problems.

Yes, I fill them out myself, as usual with my old printer.

HP may no longer accept these self-filled cartridges.
It may be due to a printer update.

J'ai mis une cartouche d'encre 301 à la place de 302 pour mon imprimante et cela ne reconnaît pas. Que dois-je faire ?

Reset the printer: turn it on by pressing "X" and "power" for 5 seconds. For my HP 2130, this is the only thing that works (and maybe install 3 other cartridges consecutively to make it forget the refilled cartridge).
