Cannot open the .pkg installation file.

Hello,

Here is the error message that appears when I try to open the Office Mac installation file (which is in .pkg format):

The document "Microsoft_Office_2016_15.22.0_160506_Installer.pkg" could not be opened. The installer cannot open files in the "Installer Package" format.

Thank you in advance for your help... I've been struggling for hours!

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.4) / Safari 9.1

    Hello,

    I don't use version 365; apparently, it’s different from previous versions regarding the installer, but
    I found a similar case here:
