How to open a .pkg file on Windows?

Hello, as the subject of the message indicates, I wanted to know how to open a file with the 'PKG' extension on Windows! Thank you in advance.

On MAC OS X, the .pkg is a file for installing an application. This type of file is therefore incompatible with Windows.

Thank you for the help, but it seems there is a problem when I try to open the .pkg file; I get an error message from the program "cplunpkg.exe" that I downloaded from the site you provided > 'the file ect.... is not a valid asymmetric presentation package.'

I don't know, it's a file I downloaded from a site. In fact, it was in another file format hqx.sit. When I extracted the hqx.sit file using StuffIt, I couldn't open that damned file inside, "VIROLAB3.pkg." So...

Hello, it might be a bit late but I'm having trouble opening all these weird files, mainly rar, zip, pkg, deb. It's impossible to find an answer on the web. I think I have a big problem with extensions or formats, I don't really know, I've never been this stuck before. Any help would really be appreciated, thank you in advance.
