Hello.
I've searched everywhere for a solution, some advice for my problem but nothing that reassures me.
After the failure of the Windows updates, I decided to restore the system to a previous date (3 days ago)...
My concern is that it's been over an hour and a half and it's stuck on "finalizing file restoration..."
Is this normal?
If it's still stuck on that in the morning, what should I do?
Thanks for your help, I'm a bit lost...

Good evening.
No, that's not normal, it should last about 15 minutes.
Wait a little longer, but after a while, stop.
Did you make a system image on your PC?
Don't worry too much, you'll fix it, even if it takes time at worst.-

A system image is a reproduction of Windows made at a moment when it is functioning well, and it is reintroduced in case of a bug, which erases the malfunctioning system and repairs it.
Let's wait a bit; maybe your PC will restart normally.
Logically, it contains a troubleshooting utility that can be activated by a key at startup to perform the repairs mentioned by Amonius and others.
You might not need to wait until tomorrow.
