Hello,
While listing my large files, I came across this one:
Install.esd c:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources type:ESD file modified on 03/24/2016 05:06 Size:2.79 GB
I don't know where it comes from or what it's for.
Can you tell me more about it?

Hello

This type of file comes from the installation of Windows 10
There are articles on Google about this.

Hello again
I'm still on Windows 7 and it's true that every day they pressure me
to switch to W10 which I don't want
can I get rid of that file?

  Before removing anything and if you don't want Win10, it's best to disable the prompt (icon?)

  I admit that I share this opinion on "forcing."
  However, I've upgraded 2 of my machines to W10, even though I was very reluctant at first; I waited 8 months, and I have to say I'm quite surprised by the performance of this OS.
  
  Well, one of them is very recent, but the other is a laptop originally running Vista, then Seven, and under W10, it's slightly better than Seven in terms of performance.
  I even know someone who runs it on an eepc originally with XP with perfectly acceptable performance. So there you go.
  
  On the other hand, I still have some machines running Seven and XP, yes, I have a few PCs, work-related :-).
