    verify this:

    click on Windows+R

in the window that opens, type SERVICES.MSC then click OK

in the window that opens look to see if you have the same thing as on my

    screenshot for the print spooler

    looking forward to your response

    re

    by USB cable.

ok, when you downloaded the printer driver from the HP site,

did you also download and install the firmware driver?

also check Windows Update in the Control Panel to see if you have any updates pending

    looking forward to your reply

I downloaded and installed the driver "Firmware," and I just performed the updates in the Control Panel. I turned my computer off and on again. But I still can't print.

do another search for updates, and if there's no change, I don’t see how I can help you further regarding your issue

everything works, except printing from your PC

tell me if there’s any news after the update search

    see you

    re

    there, I’m stuck....

what OS were you using before (XP/Vista) when the printer worked?

has your problem appeared since you have W7?

    see you

    re

there is no difference, it’s the same driver

is your W7 “official”? I think so, since the rest of the printer’s features don’t cause problems

look, I’m out of ideas regarding your problem

    see you later
