How to add fonts on Android to work in Word

Hello,

I have a Samsung Tab A (Android).
I would like to use it for my work, so I downloaded Word for word processing, but some fonts I use on my PC are not installed on my tablet, which is blocking certain folders.

I installed the iFont app on my tablet to save my new font. However, this font still does not appear in Word. I can only use it as the default writing font on the tablet's home screen.

Can you help me install this font so that the Word software on my tablet recognizes it and allows me to use it??

Thank you in advance.

Have a great day

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

    Hello

First, you need to check the Settings in the Security tab: Allow unknown sources

You need to download: Es Explorer (free from the Android store)
    From there, go to /sdcard/ifont/custom

You can also do this by connecting your phone to a PC, but you need to enable USB Debugging on the phone
To do this, go to the settings and select: About phone or tablet, click on Build number until: Congratulations, you are a developer (or something like that appears)
Then go back, Developer options, etc....

From there, you can add your .tft files

Don't overdo it, on Android it's not great to have too many fonts

      Hello Cpassimple,
I would like to clarify that I am not on a PC, but rather on a Samsung Tab A tablet and therefore under Android.

(My fonts are already installed on my PC but I would like them on my tablet so that I can work on the documents on both PC and tablet while keeping the layout and the fonts used ...)

I have corrected my post as many times as I have read yours; my first reading was not the correct one, but the mistake has been fixed.

      thank you for your reply.
I have downloaded Es Explorer on my tablet and added my font in ifont/custom, but it still doesn’t appear in Word...
Can you explain to me why and how to do it?
      Thank you

Are the fonts in .tft format?
Otherwise, I'm sorry, I deleted Office from my Android devices (I prefer to write on Windows and the app is too power-hungry, even with the latest generation of devices).
