Zimbra remove address from auto-complete

Hello,
I would like to delete incorrectly entered or outdated email addresses that appear in the auto-complete but are not in my contacts list...

    Hello,

    Have you managed to delete those addresses?

    Occasionally, incorrectly typed addresses reappear, and as a result, I end up sending the message with an erroneous address.
    For example: b---a@google.fr instead of gmail
    So the addresses are certainly present in sent messages.
    I would like to delete or modify them, but I can't do it; I can't see them.

      Have you found it?
      In the Zimbra address book menu, there is a folder containing the used email addresses. You can delete them... and make sure they don't exist anymore in the deleted contacts trash, either.
      That should be the solution to your problem...

        I would like to add that to DELETE, you need to click on "ignore" which appears in Zimbra when suggesting the email address as you type the first letter in the recipient field when creating a message.
        Ignore: appears very small to the right of the suggested email address...

        I understand your explanations well, but I don’t have this option anywhere, neither in a small size, nor on the right, nor anywhere else but in this recipient field... Unfortunately, because this story is quite frustrating. If you have another idea... I have tried everything suggested in this thread. Thank you.

      When the email is displayed in the semi-automatic suggestion list, hover over the email address and to the right you will find "ignore". Click it and you won't find it in the suggestions anymore.

    Hello,
    These are the people you have simply contacted by email: just go to ""Address Book" -> left panel "Address Books" -> People contacted by email.
    You can then delete any contacts you wish.

      They do not appear in 'contacts reached by email', only in auto-completion... Can we then have only the saved contacts proposed in auto-completion?

        Did you check the contacts trash? Yes, logically it's either those you've already contacted or those who are in your contacts.

      They don't appear anywhere :( Only in entry...
      I took over an email box from a football club and some addresses had been entered incorrectly...
      The problem is that when I type the beginning of a name, it suggests the correct address and the one that was entered incorrectly...

        Otherwise, it's because you have emails with these addresses in your inbox, sent, drafts, etc.
