Hello, I have a Technical LCD 1923b television and I have no picture since switching to HDMI. When I adjust the settings, I get the message "video format not compatible." Do I need to buy a decoder? I no longer have the manual and yet the television indicates: TNT and HDMI.
I don't understand.
Thank you to anyone who will respond.

Hi,
It's indeed an HD TV, it does support TNT, but not TNT HD. Therefore, you'll need to buy a TNT HD decoder or TV.

Hello
We haven't switched to HDMI, but from a broadcast coding standard of MPEG2 (SD) to MPEG4 (HD)
The HDMI is an interface for transmitting digital signals (cables and connectors)
As for your television, it is a HD Ready TV but not full HD, its tuner (which decodes signals received from the antenna) is not compatible with MPEG4

You will need to get an HD TNT decoder and an HDMI cable to get HD images on this device.

Hello, I’m not an expert, but here’s the manual for your TV: http://vestel-france.fr/assets/files/ib/IB-TECHNICAL-LCD1623B.pdf.
I’m following up on previous messages: get a dual tuner decoder, otherwise you won’t be able to record one channel while watching another, which is completely ridiculous (either you record but don’t watch TV, or you watch the same channel you’re recording...).
