GLPI Creation of a collector

Hello everyone,

I am currently using GLPI 0.90.1 and Exchange 2007.
I created my collector as follows:

Name: GLPI@"mydomain".fr
Active: yes
Server: "mySMTPserver"
Connection option: POP
Username: "GLPI@mydomain.fr login"
Password: "GLPI@mydomain.fr password"

And when I click on "Retrieve emails now," the error message is: "Connection to the collector failed"

I tested from my GLPI server by connecting via telnet to my SMTP server, and I can connect without problems. I have tried all possible connection options, but nothing works; I always get this error message.

If you can help me, thank you in advance for your responses.

      I am currently experiencing the same problem (and the same error :/), but I am running on Exchange 2013.
      Could you please share the solution you used?

        Hello, actually it was in the connection options that it wasn't working, I tried a few things and finally found the right one. In my case, I set it to: POP / - / NO-TLS / NO-VALIDATE-CERT / - / - / DEBUG
