Hello, I have a little issue, I don't know which transponder to use for Astra to get the French HD channels and the Canal Sat and Orange packages. Thank you for your advice.
Thank you, Gil, but I didn't understand anything about these sites, Do you have a frequency to recommend to me?

Here is an example of a set of parameters (polarization frequency, SR) displayed by a DVB-S2 pointer corresponding to a support transponder to facilitate the alignment of the dish on Astra 1. This repeater contains French channels (e.g. LCI in clear) broadcasted by Astra 1.
These parameters should also be those of a satellite terminal operating on Astra. (if FEC requested: 5/6)
For more details, see the "satellite" forum under pointer or alignment...

At 65 km south of Toulouse to Pamiers, I pick either the transponder 11856/V/29700 or 12343/H30000 (Signal strength 95% Quality 91% - On the 11856:V/29700 Signal strength 93% Quality 72% and it works).

Download the ASTRA app; it will help you point to the satellite 19.2 (Azimuth, Elevation, and LNB orientation). When your smartphone vibrates, you are in the azimuth. The automatic location doesn’t always work, enter your GPS coordinates manually; it’s simpler. I use it while on the move (motorhome). With a bit of patience, you’ll make it! Best regards, Schanet12
