Hello,
I'm trying to number my Word document that has both portrait and landscape pages.
The issue is that the cover page is also being numbered even though I checked "different first page." When I delete the numbering for the first page, the landscape pages' numbering gets deleted too.
Thank you for your ideas :)
Have a great day!

Well, you have 4 sections. By the way, some are unnecessary, and the section break needed to insert a landscape page is unnecessary for inserting multiple consecutive landscape pages.
That being said, for each section, as I mentioned earlier, you have the option to have a different first page, and that’s what you’ve done.
So, you need to keep Different first page in the first section (and remove the number from this first page), and then in all the other sections, you need to uncheck the Different first page option.
When you’re in the first footer, there's a Next button that allows you to move from section to section and thus uncheck this option.
For your information, managing sections is the most complicated aspect to handle in Word. So, the fewer we have, the better off we are, as you can see for yourself.
Moreover, if the document is to be printed, the footer on landscape pages isn’t great since it will end up on the right when the stack of sheets is piled up.
Since your two landscape pages contain images, it would (in my opinion) be wiser to keep these pages in Portrait format and rotate the images, thus avoiding the section breaks.

We are not clairvoyants: please remember to indicate the version of the software used, and how you proceeded.
