Would someone know how to erase the BIOS password on a Toshiba C855?

    Hello again,

    I just learned that Toshiba France can erase the BIOS password for 100€ (too expensive!) in addition to shipping costs!!! While looking a bit further, I came across these listings, what do you think? thanks:

    I don’t know.
    I saw something about BIOS passwords but I don’t know where it went, I’ll wait for it to come back.
    Why is there a password on this BIOS?

      After needing to reinstall the system, the old hard drive is dead. Apparently, on these models, the BIOS is locked by a password as soon as the first hard drive is removed!!! To verify... in any case, I have never set a BIOS password on this PC, I don't know how it ended up there.
