Windows 10 / Scanner Epson Perfection 1240U

Is it possible for Windows 10 to accept the old driver for Epson Perfection 1240U? If so, how can I do it? Thank you. Lacocagne

Hello.
It is possible that the old scanner driver is incompatible with Win 10.
Check the Epson website for a driver for Win 10, or try a driver for a previous system.

Thank you for the advice. EPSON informs me that it is not an update issue but a compatibility problem with MICROSOFT and that all old scanners are affected. They suggested a free program at http://www.vuescan.fr/ and it works very well. Again, thank you. lacocagne

For me, Vuescan only works partially, as it does not properly handle slides or negatives.
