Hello,
I can't start my Toshiba C 872 laptop; the white button at the bottom is flashing constantly, and the screen remains black. During the last use, I closed it normally, it needed to be charged but I wanted to do it later, and then afterwards, it's impossible to turn it back on, total black screen and a button that keeps flashing...
Is it a power issue? It makes a small "life" sound when you press the power button, then nothing....
Thanks in advance if anyone has an idea, a suggestion, I hope it's not the end after only about two years....
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 44.0

much later regarding the departure of your troubles
it's not working, is it not starting ??? before changing the inverter, test it on an external monitor (fn+F5) but otherwise a tried and true technique:
disconnect the battery, press power to discharge the motherboard, plug in the power supply, reconnect the battery and the little +: hold down the BACKSPACE key for Five Full Minutes
turn it on ... bingo the computer works, well I had both issues, my inverter is also dead but it works perfectly on an external monitor
Before asking your question, check if others have had the same problem and read the answers they received XD

Tonight I'm trying another maneuver with control alt delete and maybe that will help!
It still shows some signs of life but doesn't hold and the screen stays black; I was also told about this maneuver with control alt delete to reboot..
Thanks anyway, see you later.
