Hello,
I recently purchased a Kotion Each G9000 headset: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B017NI92IM?ref_=pe_386181_51767671_TE_dp_1
You might say it's Chinese quality, but still...
I received it this morning and the microphone isn't working.
The cable is a Jack with a Green/Pink adapter for audio/micro.
When I plug in each cable, the Realtek Audio HD starts up.
I set the green as headphone and the pink as microphone.
I go to the "Sound" settings, the headset is recognized correctly in Playback/Recording but:
- Playback: The sound plays poorly on the right side when I do an audio test
- Recording: The "Realtek Audio" microphone is available but doesn't pick up my voice (the green bar doesn't move)
- AND THE STRANGEST THING: When music plays, the green bar of the microphone reacts to the rhythm of the music!
(Oh, and I read that I should disable Stereo Mix but that doesn't help me)
I don't know what to do, can you help me?!
Thank you very much.
Have a good day.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 48.0.2564.116

Hi,
Yes, the mixing actually blocks the mic so you can't use both at the same time. If you have a warranty, I recommend that you go there. I don't know much about headsets, but if it doesn't work, I think I've seen that headset before when I was looking for one, and many people complain that the mic doesn't work. I'm not sure, but anyway.
Good luck!
