Since you have already tried to uninstall Kaspersky on your own, it's possible that not everything was uninstalled properly. When checking my machine, which is a Windows 8.1-64 bit, I noticed that Kaspersky is located in a completely hidden file that can be accessed using >> This tool >> You run it via its executable, and in the window that opens, you look for the line or lines related to Kaspersky and delete them by selecting Remove, then Exit to close (only those lines). From experience, I know that some software cannot be reinstalled if it has not been uninstalled correctly or is still present in those hidden files.
