Unable to uninstall malwarebytes

Hello,

I have been trying in vain for several hours to uninstall this program via [Programs and Features] --> [Malwarebytes Anti-Malware] right-click and uninstall.

Each time I get the same error message which is as follows:

Runtime Error (at-1:0):

cannot import dll:C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll.

So I think someone here might be competent enough to help me. Thanks in advance.
P.S.: I am working on an Acer Aspire One notebook and Windows 7

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 11.0

    with this, Malwarebytes uninstallation tool: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

      I just did what you wrote and it worked right away and without any issues
      I see that your message is from 2012, well, you see, it’s still useful 5 years later

      THANK YOU!!! We are in 2021 (9 years after your post with your solution) and it still works!!! I was finally able to uninstall Malwarebytes. The uninstallation had started but got stuck. Anyway, thanks again :)
