Photofiltre on Mac

Hello
I know the subject has already been addressed, but here it is: I had a Mac with Photofiltre 7 in my hands, definitely installed by someone, but I don't know how.
The thing is, it's all over the place when you try to use it; the tools, for example, stay open so that if you select an area, it simultaneously erases and paints; I haven't found how to deselect, and having 3 tools open at the same time is chaotic. Another thing, there's no way to juxtapose another image, move a layer, or do a cutting out like I usually do, etc. It's as if the keys had gone crazy and were responding with a lot of whimsy and surprises.
My question: is this solvable? Can we “normalize” the thing, or is switching to Mac definitively impossible? Or did I not understand something?
Thank you for your knowledgeable responses.

    Hello,

Photophiltre for Mac does not exist.

So, either you are not talking about Photophiltre 7,
or it was indeed Photophiltre 7, but it was installed in a PC/Windows session on Mac.
Windows can be installed in a PC emulator or via Boot Camp. Some PC emulators allow certain Windows applications to run more or less correctly.

I am sure it is Photofiltre 7. However, after reading the indicated link, I see that several scenarios are possible to run Windows on a Mac; I don't know what was specifically done. Anyway, the question that remains is: is it possible to run this software correctly with one of these methods, but it's well beyond my skills. I will try to find out more about this transgenic PC
thank you for your response and have a good day!
I will come back with more elements if it can be useful; especially since the question interests me for other software like Fotomorph..
