Hello.
I have had my printer for just over a year.
Recently, I changed the ink cartridges (they are not Canon but from the brand Armor (compatible) which I had used previously without any issues).
When I closed the lid, a message appeared: printer error 6502, with an orange flashing light. I followed the steps indicated to resolve it: cancel the print job, unplug the printer, then turn it back on after plugging it back in.
Still the same message.
I consulted the user manual for troubleshooting which says "if the problem persists, contact the service center.
What do you think? Do you have any advice or a solution?
Thank you in advance for your response.

Good evening,
This issue seems to be related to cartridge detection, trying to remove and then reinstall them might help!
Position the carriage so you can remove the cartridges.
Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source.
Remove the cartridges.
Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer.
Reinstall the cartridges.
I don't know if this will help solve the issues, but trying the procedure doesn't cost anything!
Best regards.

First of all, thank you for your reply.
I followed the proposed procedure.
But I still get the same error message (6502) after turning the printer back on.
I think I will go to my seller (Darty) to explain the problem.
Will he have an answer???
I will keep you updated unless you have another response.- Hello,
Maybe try this!
Turn off and unplug the printer.
Remove the cartridges.
Plug the printer back in and press and hold the Power button, press the Resume button twice then release everything.
Reinstall the cartridges and proceed with the test.
If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to suggest, sorry!
Best regards.
