Hello,
On a 32GB SSD (Lenovo Yoga 300-11 64-bit), I want to install Windows 10 (currently I have Win 8.1).
I will use the method of a 4GB USB key.
On my disk, I want to remove everything (recovery partition, Win8, etc...) so that only Windows 10 remains.
I will make an image of Win 10 once it's installed, but I will put it on an external drive.

Given these conditions, can you tell me how much of my 32GB will remain on my disk once Win 10 is installed?
Does Win 10 take 4GB, 16GB, or 20GB? It's not very clear to me...
I heard that [b][u]during the installation it needs 20GB, but not necessarily afterwards.

Thank you.

Hello, it takes precisely, without anything else, 14.7 GB in 64-bit.
But to make it work with updates and antivirus, among other things, you need more, of course.

      Hello Cristali,
Did you take your screenshot of 14.7GB just after the installation? Was there anything else installed?

Had you deleted the recovery partitions and others?

If I summarize, PCs with 32GB SSDs are unsuitable for Win 10?!? Honestly...

so it's really a scam a 32GB HDD. I need to install Office, a few other software ...
If I constantly have to juggle with an external drive, it's really a step back these 32GB PCs.
