Hello everyone! (°v°)
I have a friend who can no longer access messenger, only the intranet because, "the maintenance" of his company declared that it was a vector for viruses and that some use it for non-professional purposes during working hours... the problem is that my buddy was working on a project to create a kind of internet dedicated to the sales force, both nomadic and sedentary, in "live" relation with the estimating/stock department, via blackberry (OUT)/PC (IN) - he had started his "beta" based on messenger - since he is just an intern, he cannot make his voice heard within the decision-making body...
> Could you please suggest possible alternatives for him to continue without having to start everything over?
Thank you in advance.
Courteously.
And have an excellent day, of course!
NB: Sorry if my post is not appropriate, maybe it belongs in programming?

That things are not always easy in businesses, I understand that very well.
But we must not forget that CCM is a public forum to which your friend's managers can connect. What would their reaction be if they found that advice is being given there to allow their employees to bypass their protections?
That is the question...

Re,
When the system supposedly "protecting" generates more harm than good, I believe it is our duty to try to make it evolve, but this is not the forum where we will discuss that (maybe in private messages?)... Know that I understand that you don't want to violate the CCM ethics – which is commendable and I acknowledge that – but in this case, I'm not asking for help to circumvent anything, but to optimize a production tool.
As you said: [...] “What would their reaction be if they realized that we are giving advice to allow their employees to circumvent their protections?”
=> That’s why I speak of a friend and do not mention the company, anonymity is therefore preserved.

I agree with you when you say that it is the company's responsibility to provide the appropriate production/design tool, unfortunately this vision is utopian; the reality of the job market cannot be viewed in a black-and-white way; some unscrupulous employers exploit and abuse the "precarious" status of interns - in subtle ways - resulting in an unfair situation for those who want to make things evolve, rather than lamenting their fate... But perhaps you work for a company that treats you admirably and never puts you to excessive tests, toptitbal, or maybe you have never been confronted with the professional sphere and in that case I can understand your difficulty in comprehending...
Despite your refusal to cooperate, I wish you a good day.
