Failure on Samsung TV LE40B530P7W

Hello,
Since yesterday my TV keeps turning off and on by itself without any prompting.
I have to turn it off to avoid being woken up at night by the little sound it makes...
And now, as if that weren't enough, the menu pops up on its own, it goes away and comes back...
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you in advance for your help.
I'm not really in a position to buy a new TV.

    Hello,

    First of all...;
    - Remove the batteries from the remote and see if the issue persists... (maybe a button is stuck...)

    - Don't you live in an apartment?
    Strangely.... if a neighbor has a model almost identical to yours... it can happen that interference occurs and that he "controls" your television unintentionally by "changing channels" on his...

    And finally .... If your television is still under warranty (2-year manufacturer warranty...) take it back to your retailer...

      Thank you for your response
      I did think about removing the batteries from the remote control, but it didn't help :(
      And I live in a house, so there's no issue with a channel-surfing neighbor ;)
      Unfortunately, my TV is no longer under warranty; otherwise, I wouldn't be tearing my hair out, lol.

    Good evening,

    There is still another possibility, but this one is a little more technical.

    It could be one of the manual control buttons on the TV itself, but to check that, you need to open the TV and disconnect the circuit board that includes those buttons from the TV's motherboard and see if the phenomenon persists.

    This suggestion is somewhat similar to a stuck remote control button, except that it would be at the TV level and it's a bit more complicated ;-)

    Just be careful with what you're doing, this isn't a beginner's operation either; it's about removing the back panel of the TV, identifying the connection that links the TV's motherboard to the printed circuit board that supports the control buttons, and interrupting this connection very carefully ;-)

    But if you feel capable, why not ;-)

      Good evening Stargate43,
      I have the same problem with the same Samsung TV model. This success encouraged me to do the same.
      The "catch" is when I put the back panel on, the TV doesn't start, whereas it works without the panel, and without any bugs.
      What precautions should be taken to put the panel back on?

      I think the precaution to take would be to make sure that nothing gets stuck when fitting the back face onto the front face; aside from this precaution, I don't see anything else.

      I had indeed misaligned the printed circuit board related to the manual control.
      I took the opportunity to dust everything off :-)
      Everything is working normally.
