Hello, when I try to automatically merge the layers, an error message appears: "The current settings for the cropping command are not correct." Can someone tell me what this is coming from? And how to fix the problem? Thank you in advance ;)

    Hello,

How do you perform your mergers in Photoshop?

For me, Ctrl+E for a layer above its lower layer.
For a group of layers, Ctrl+Alt+E.

Do you encounter this message from these commands?
Just a silly thing, but you can't merge layers when the background is selected. Photoshop always locks the project with a background.

Tips: I advise against merging your layers; you'll always need to come back to them sooner or later.
If it's for project organization and to lighten the layers window, I recommend creating groups (select your layers and press Ctrl+G and rename your groups and all your layers, by the way).

There you go, good luck and if you still can't find a solution, feel free to come back.
