Hello, so here is my problem:
It's been about 2 months since I was given LoRdi the region, when I tried the computer, it worked perfectly well.
After that, I didn't use it for about 2 weeks, then I wanted to use it again, but when I started it, the little HP logo appeared for less than 2 seconds, then I got a black screen with the cursor on it.
Since that day, every time I turn on LoRdi the region, I get a black screen again, so I would really like to know if someone could help me solve this problem, it would be really kind.

Hello Laurent, so I know what I need to do, but only when I go through the procedure at one point, specifically when I need to click "UPDATE", I can't click on it and it tells me that a BIOS update is blocked on this device. Do you know a way to unlock the BIOS because I don't understand what I need to do, thank you for getting back to me as soon as possible.

Hello Laurent, I have the same problem with the same computer (the region) and I haven't found the procedure that you communicated to Merquinzac. May I ask you to send it to me? Best regards.

Good evening,
There has been no follow-up regarding the password-protected update issue in 6 years.
The Languedoc-Roussillon region documented the F.28 update for these touchscreen PCs equipped with Windows 8.1. Support can be found here: http://194.167.115.58:8181/eplintra/spip.php?rubrique66

However, a lot has happened since then. The most recent update for this BIOS is F.30 Revision A. It certainly brings some new features or corrections. It should be prioritized; anyway, version F.28 is no longer available on the Internet.

Here is the HP support link for this HP x360 310 Generation 1 PC: https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/selfservice/hp-x360-310-g1-convertible-pc/6943758

You will land on this page to download version F.30 rev A. You will need to "Choose another operating system" if nothing is proposed, then select Windows 8.1 to obtain:

Then, follow the guide "Recommendation LoRdi 2015 - BIOS update" that was proposed back then by the region.
