Alt+F4 no longer works

Hello,
For the past few days, the keyboard shortcut "alt+f4" has not been working for me. The "alt" key works just fine, the "f4" key does too, all other shortcuts work well (ctrl+alt+del, ctrl+tab, etc.), and even using the virtual keyboard, alt+f4 does not work. I have an HP dv6 laptop. How can I restore the alt+f4 function?

    Try using the Fn key, you do ALT + Fn + F4 for example

      It didn't work, but by accident I hit "Alt+Windows+F4" and it worked :D Is there a way to retrieve the Alt+F4 shortcut without the "Windows" key?

      Normally, if the Alt+F4 key didn't work, you need to go into the BIOS to fix it, but in the meantime, Alt+fn+F4 first resolves the shutdown shortcut issue.
