Hello,
In Word, when I position myself in a letter on the Fill field, I would normally press Alt F9 to display the field codes. However, whether I press Alt F9, Ctrl F9, Shift F9, or Fn F9, the screen turns black and I have to press Alt F9 again to reopen the screen and I do not get the desired result. Could you please help me? Thank you.

Good evening
Only certain keyboards require you to press fn + the function key
The black screen is curious
But go check the keyboard shortcuts for these functions that are normally set by default
=> Options / Customize the ribbon / click on ‘keyboard shortcuts’ to ‘customize’
Point in 'Categories' at all commands at the very end: look on the right for the functions one by one which are listed in alphabetical order
- Alt F9 for example 'shows and hides field codes': if the shortcut is missing, reassign it
- F9 UpdateFields
- Ctrl F9 InsertFieldCode
