Hello,
I just received my Freebox in my new apartment. The building is new, so I have Ethernet wall sockets all over the rooms and I would like to use them. The problem is that I don't know how to do it.
Could someone provide me with a wiring diagram for connecting my Freebox to my box?
Below is a photo of my box. Currently, the RJ11 cable from my Freebox server is plugged into the "modem" socket of my box.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hello,
In the end, where do you want to place your Freebox?
Leave it there with the socket outlets? It’s the best place to distribute the network in the apartment.
If the sockets in the rooms are connected for Ethernet (with all 8 wires connected), because sometimes they are only wired for the phone (with 2 wires connected).
Connecting the Freebox to the modem socket like you did is the logical connection. But then why your question? Isn’t it working?
Personally, I would put an RJ11 cable between the modem socket and the Freebox, not the thing that goes through a T socket.
Best regards

My Freebox server will stay near the meter. With the current wiring, I can't get internet through the wall sockets. I thought I had understood that this would be possible, but if you confirm that the current wiring should allow it, I have doubts about what I've been told.
I will try to gather information from my neighbors. Maybe, as you say, the wiring was only done for the phone...
Thanks again.
