Hello,
When I plug my external hard drive into the USB port of the projector, the movies are detected but I can't play the videos. The message "cannot play" appears.
When I launch the same movie through my computer with the HDMI port, the video works perfectly.
Can you explain to me how to play a video with a USB stick or an external hard drive?
Thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 46.0.2490.86

Hello, just a quick note to check how your hard drive or USB stick is formatted and check the manual of your projector for FAT32 or NTFS and the supported formats. For files larger than 4GB, it needs to be formatted in NTFS.

Please remember to "reply" to your message if that's the case.

Thank you for the information
I formatted it to NTFS and that doesn't work either.
I should specify that my external hard drive is in FAT32 format
I can't find the information regarding the maximum file size that the video player can read when connecting an external hard drive to the USB A port
I have the manual in digital format if you want???

Here is the user manual

I don't understand why the projector is not reading the videos even though it detects all the files on my USB stick... I have switched to USB mode.

Hello, upon closer inspection, it turns out that your projector does not support MPEG video files, but only photo files. For audio, PCM is standard, but for the other ADCMP, those are extensions I'm not familiar with. I think you'll have to give up using your USB input and hard drive and resign yourself to using HDMI or VGA with a computer.
I believe this input is reserved for files intended for presentations in education or other documentation fields.
