Hello,
I've been having issues with a temperamental Bbox since I got it. Very often, the remote control desyncs and I spend 20 minutes resyncing it each time.
Today, despite several attempts, it's impossible. My screen remains blue and explains the procedure, which doesn’t work. So, I removed the batteries from my remote control. Very bad idea; now my remote won’t turn on at all, the "Bbox / TV" light button doesn’t light up, and I can’t do anything. Help me!

Hello, with this procedure you should succeed
Make sure beforehand that the remote control is not operational by pressing one or two buttons like [1] or [2] and ensuring it is properly positioned in remote mode (Bbox LED lights up when the buttons are pressed).
If this is the case, ignore the following steps, just:

Press OK and finish the installation or go to LIVE.
-
Ask the client to stay on LIVE for up to 30 minutes on a channel where video and sound are visible, avoiding zapping for the recovery of their rights.
If this is not the case, switch the remote control to Infrared:
-
Ensure that the remote is properly positioned on the Bbox LED by pressing the bbox/TV button at the top left 1 or 2 times
-
Press [HOME](blue house) + [EXIT] for 10s
? The Bbox LED on the remote blinks every second
-
Enter [4][5][6] followed by [HOME]
? The Bbox LED on the remote will blink 2 times very quickly.
-
Press one or two buttons (like [1] or [2]) to ensure that the Bbox LED blinks
? If so, the remote is then in infrared mode.
-
Press OK and finish the installation or go to LIVE.

Ask the client to stay on LIVE for up to 30 minutes on a channel where video and sound are visible, avoiding zapping for the recovery of their rights.
Then switch the remote back to pairing mode:
-
Make sure the remote is properly positioned on the Bbox LED by pressing the bbox/TV button at the top left 1 or 2 times

Press [HOME](blue house) + [EXIT] for 10s
? The Bbox LED on the remote blinks every second
-
Enter [1][2][3] followed by [HOME]
? The Bbox LED on the remote will blink 2 times very quickly.

Press one or two buttons (like [1] or [2]) to ensure that the Bbox LED no longer blinks.
? If so, the remote can be paired
To pair the remote, check for a message on the TV:
-
Is the message inviting pairing of the remote already on the TV? Proceed with the pairing as described

Is there no message on the TV?
? Press and hold the down arrow on the front panel of the decoder for 10 seconds. A message "pairing of the remote and decoder is necessary. To do this, press …..." appears on the TV.
? On the remote, press [HOME] + [PAUSE/PLAY] for 10s: The Bbox LED on the remote blinks every second
? Wait a few seconds, the Bbox LED will eventually blink 2 times very quickly and the display on the TV will change.
