Touch screen stuck after a fall

Hello!

I dropped my iPod touch (not from very high though) and the touchscreen got stuck (nothing works except the buttons) with what looks like vertical blue lines.
I restarted it several times, but nothing helps.
So, I went to Darty where I was advised to restore it, which I did (with little hope).
And even after that, my screen still won't unlock...
Does anyone have an idea of what might have been damaged due to this fall? And maybe an idea of the repair price?

Thanks in advance!!

Have you thought about looking into the LCD screens? Maybe the problem comes from that part; otherwise, it's the touch ribbon of the iPad or iPod. Check online. It happened to me too two days ago. I dropped my iPod, not very hard, and the screen turned white with white and blue lines, but it is still responsive to touch. Do some more research before doing anything.
