Hey everyone,
for my first post, I'll be quite direct: I have a laptop and a TV screen permanently connected to the laptop via HDMI (the laptop screen "turns off" and is replaced by the TV). Today, I started a game, and then, error message, the game crashes, and the screen displays "No signal." However, nothing is disconnected, and when I unplug and reconnect the cable, the laptop makes the sound indicating that it has detected a new device. Moreover, in my screen sharing settings, I have no screen choice to make when the HDMI cable is unplugged; but once plugged in, I can choose between screen 1 (the laptop) and screen 2 (my TV, well, logically..) But once I apply with screen 2, a red message appears: "Unable to save display settings. Please try another display combination." So, the image remains on screen 1, even after restarting the laptop, the TV, changing the cable... I hope I was clear enough and that you can help me :(

    Hello,
I think this is a simple resolution issue; the game is using a resolution that is too high for what the TV can display, so it doesn't show anything. You should adjust the game's settings to match the TV's resolution or lower (if you connect your TV via HDMI, it should support a resolution of 720 or 1080p). Try the resolution 1920x1080, and if that's still not working, try 1280x720.

Thank you for your quick response, but the screen shows no signal even on the desktop, even when I have nothing open. Moreover, I've been playing the same game with the same screen, the same settings, and the same cable for quite some time, and nothing happens.
