Uninstall Applock

Solved

Good evening,

I installed Applock to protect access to certain applications, but I no longer need it, and it bothers me a lot with the ads it sends, draining my battery faster. I tried through the application manager, but the uninstall button is grayed out, and the same on the play store, I can't uninstall it. Do you have a solution, please?
Thank you in advance for your help

Configuration: iPhone / Chrome 45.0.2454.94

For those who can't remove Applock from DoMobile, you can try contacting them by email: support@domobile.com

Otherwise, we can always try (for android) going to Settings > Security > Device administrators, and unchecking the box next to Applock.

Hello,
I had the same problem as blablatruc47, who has a Wiko like me. I pulled my hair out trying to figure out how to uninstall it, looking for advice on English websites, etc., and nothing worked to uninstall it, there was no uninstall icon, and when I used a tool like CCleaner to try to uninstall it, there was a button to uninstall, but I got a message saying that the uninstallation failed.
However, after performing a factory reset, I noticed that among the stock applications, there is Applock among others. Applock is considered a system application (in settings>applications) and being installed by default from the factory installation, it is therefore impossible to remove it (unless through some Android/mobile geek tricks that I know nothing about). I understand that it is said that the application is installed in "root," a part of the system protected against modifications by the average user, and that to access it and make changes, one needs a bit advanced smartphone/android technical knowledge (I don't even know if it's really possible to do it on all devices, although I know that some recent Android viruses would use system vulnerabilities to install themselves in root). These applications are also called bloatware, those that sometimes come with the systems of phones we buy and that we cannot or can hardly remove.

So ultimately, there was no need to look far; one just had to remember that these applications are installed at the system level (which we don’t always remember) so we cannot uninstall them. That is why the "basic" advice for uninstalling an application doesn't apply, and the fact that some applications are installed by default without much attention makes us often think much more about basic methods for uninstallation, while the answer wasn't there.
There are plenty of applications like Google that I believe are also not uninstallable by default, so personally what I do is create a folder called "mess," for example, and I put all the applications I don’t use and cannot uninstall in it, and I place the folder in a corner. So it looks cleaner and better organized, for lack of a better solution. That's what I did with Applock too.

This message only applies to those with such truly pre-installed applications; it’s one response among the multitude of issues that can exist in such cases. But it’s a situation that isn’t thought about enough here, and because of which I also had to pull my hair out. Hoping that this explanation helps others in this situation as well.

The only solution is rooting. Be careful with Kingroot and all one-click root solutions. It can break the phone and I take no responsibility for that. What I advise you to do is to go to the XDA Developers forums (in English) and specify your model and brand of device so that you can see the solution. If they tell you to use Kingroot, then go ahead and use Kingroot. Keep in mind that rooting allows you to remove bloatware, but it can also make the device vulnerable. Be very careful because in this field, you're walking a tightrope!

Sorry for the images in English, I'm too lazy to install the app and take screenshots and then transfer them to the PC... so I Googled a few for you xD

In the settings, you need to uncheck "Advanced protection"

and then you should have something like:

Thank you,
Actually, I didn't have the "advanced protection" activated. But I didn't see the uninstall button. I didn't have the same menu. I think the screenshots are from an earlier version. In any case, thank you very much, and I'm sorry to have bothered you.

Did you manage to solve your problem anyway? If so, it would be cool to share :)

Yes, of course I mentioned the procedure above; I hope I was clear. I’m not good at this but I tried.
But I can still try again just in case my comment above goes unnoticed.
The solution is simple, with the application open, go to the left menu. At the very bottom on the left, you will find the thumbs up "like" sign; you click it, and it will take you directly to the play store to rate the application, except this time you can see the uninstall button on the play store page; you click on it and it's done.
Thank you dear friend for the time you have given me, and I hope this tip will be useful.

Normally, if you have the password for your application, you can deactivate it through its settings and be able to uninstall it.

If you don't have this "code", we won't tell you here how to bypass it.

Thank you for your response. I have the code, of course. Can you tell me how I can disable it? I looked in the settings but couldn't find anything.

Please provide the full name of the software along with its version and the developer's name (since there are several applocks).

You go to the left menu and scroll all the way down. You should find the uninstallation.

And also look in the settings for something like "Uninstallation Prevention".

I'm sorry, but I can't find anywhere the word uninstall.
When I open the application, I can switch between "privacy," where I have the list of my applications, and "Protect," where I can set up the application, and I searched everywhere there is no thing that mentions uninstallation.
Then I click on the left menu, the last thing I see is "message."
I'm sorry, but I might have missed something, but I can't find it.
